ANTARCTIC LIFE®

Capture your Antarctic experience,
even offline.

On the other side of the world, every moment counts.

Wildlife, landscapes, glaciers and icebergs, places steeped in history and how you feel when you see them: Antarctic Life is your expedition companion and your personal logbook. Record each day with photos, words and voice notes, and at the end of the trip take home your PDF Logbook. Everything works offline and syncs when there is a signal.

( HOW IT WORKS )

Record, discover, relive.

01

Record

An animal, a landscape, an iceberg, a moment: choose what you are looking at and tap “I saw it”, or record a voice note about how you feel. It is saved with date, time and place, even without a signal.

02

Discover

The app is with you at every stage of the journey, from Ushuaia to deep Antarctica: a species to get to know every day, the Explore atlas with the history of each place, and an alert when you sail through areas proposed for protection.

03

Relive

My expedition brings your journey together day by day: what you saw, your photos and your notes. At the end, it all becomes your PDF Logbook, to keep and share.

( WHY IT MATTERS )

Knowing it is the first step to caring for it.

Antarctica is a natural reserve devoted to peace and science. Antarctic Life helps you understand the place you are travelling through: when you sail into an area of the D1MPA —the proposed marine protected area for the Antarctic Peninsula— the app lets you know and tells you what life it shelters. Every species has its story, its photos, where to see it and its place in the web of Antarctic life.

NO SIGNAL · NO RUSH · WITH PURPOSE

( THE PROJECT )

Inspired by Antarctica.

Antarctic Life is a project by CampoGIS LLC and DigitalFlow, driven by a team of scientists and specialists inspired by the extraordinary natural richness of Antarctica and the importance of its conservation. We want to share that view with those who visit it, inviting them to discover its biodiversity, its landscapes and its history, and to record the experiences and emotions that make every journey unique. We believe that knowing and understanding Antarctica is also a way of valuing it and helping to protect it.
